Malaysia Kini

Malaysia is a very interesting country if you ask me. We won't be tired of coming out with new ideas to publicize our own country, to introduce our country to the whole world. The 'we' here refers to our country, or our government to be precise. For me, publicity is good in some ways because it helps to make us to be known and recognised by everyone. Because of publicity, the foreigners finally understood that Malaysian don't build houses and live on trees. Okay, we built some tree-houses to satisfy some of the foreigners for tourism purposes.

For me, Tun M, our former PM has successfully changed the impression of people from all over the world about Malaysia by building the then-physically-the-most-beautiful-international-airport, giving us the then tallest building in the world and remain the tallest twin tower until today, bringing us the most expensive sport on earth by having Sepang F1 Circuit, and so on. A lot of people do not understand the purpose of spending money on this areas and they keep blaming the government for wasting rakyat's money. I do not see thing this way.

When we talk about development, basically it is a process of becoming more developed than before. For a developing country like Malaysia, it is not unusual to see the government introducing so many projects and building so many megastructures for the past decades such as Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC), Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, KL Tower, KLCC Twin Tower, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang F1 Circuit, SMART tunnel, North-South Expressway, Second Link to Singapore, Penang second bridge, and the latest project, The Iskandar Development Region in Johor.

Without a doubt that a huge amount of money is spent but nothing is wrong here. I am more than happy to call it as investment because all these will make us more recognised, and will generate income for us in the future. The Formula One race is a good example. When the name Kuala Lumpur was placed in the Formula One calendar many years back, the conservative-minded groups blamed the government for spending so much money just to host Formula One races. But today, all the countries are battling to have their country name to be placed in the annual Formula One calendar, Singapore is a good example.

After Tun M stepped down, Malaysia has never failed continue to publicise itself. Recently our country name has become the headlines all over the world. Firstly, the murder of the female Mongolian, Altantuya which has burnt Razak Baginda, the politic analyst's ass hardly, and the latest development of the story has got our DPM and his wife's asses burnt together with Baginda. Baginda is not alone this time. After some time the case had been brought to the court, people were getting bored with it. Thanks to our inefficient authorities who take forever to investigate cases which have involved politicians. Seriously, I don't really read the development of Altantuya's murder now because I have categorised it as an entertainment news, which I do not read usually.

The second thing that has brought Malaysia to the headlines is Anwar Ibrahim, our former DPM's ass-fucking charge. Anwar had been jailed for a few years of the same reason when Tun M was leading the country. Now, we have Pak Lah as our new leader. Pak Lah freed Anwar, whom was found guilty of fucking his wife's chauffeur, Azizan Abu Bakar's asshole when Tun M was in place. But today, Anwar is in trouble again as his aide, Saiful Bahari had lodged a police report claiming that he had been sodomised by Anwar. I seriously want to know how an old man can anal-fuck a hot-blooded young man.

Anwar Ibrahim's fucking-Saiful's-asshole-case has become one of the hottest topic at all kopitiam now. Some people are saying that Pak Lah released Anwar was hoping that Anwar would have taken action against Tun M, because Tun M has been saying too much in the public which has seriously been affecting Pak Lah's political path. The 308 political tsunami is a good example. But the Pak Lah's plan hasn't been executed accordingly. Pak Lah thought that he could have released a rottweiler to bark and bite his enemy, Tun M. But mana tau the rottweiler that has been released hasn't been tamed to recognise its owner. The rottweiler is biting the so-called owner now. The owner realised it and he is doing all he can to cage the useless rottlweiler. This is just one of the many stories that I heard of.

The latest hot topic is the purchase of Mercedes Benz E200K by the Terengganu Government for their exco members. The Cabinet, which led by Pak Lah said the state government must use Proton Perdana for its exco members. Obviously Terengganu is not a good boy because he doesn't follow what the father says. The Terengganu Menteri Besar, Mr. Ahmad claimed that the Proton Perdanas are too expensive to maintain, that's why they change it to the higher class, Mercedes Benz which believe to be more economy after a study has been carried out two years ago, compare to the Perdanas.

In this case, obviously the Terengganu Government are claiming that they can't afford to maintain the costly-maintenance-Perdana which selling at approximately RM100,000 per unit for the standard model. From my observation, there are many Perdanas running on the road today. Can I say those who are driving Perdana are far more richer than the Terengganu Government?? Hello, the state government can't afford something which the Perdana owners can. See, how rich you are, the Perdana owners. I salute you!! But this is only one part of it.

The Perdana-costly-maintenance claim by the Terengganu Government has hardly and harshly hit the Proton management's asses. Today in The Star, the managing Directorof Proton Holdings Bhd, Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir is protecting his own firm by saying that the average maintenance cost for each Perdana car sent by the Terengganu Government was only RM542 per year. We have two claims here, so now we know that either one party here is cheating us, either the state government or the local automobile manufacturer.

Are you aware that Proton, the local automobile manufacturer is also majorily owned by our government?? Do you know that?? Mahai, if there is the case, obviously we are actually cheated by the government. If what the Terengganu Government claimed is true, then the government-owned Proton is cheating us. If not, the Terengganu Government must be conning by saying the Perdanas are lousy cars. In conclusions, we rakyat are the main losers today. We are so fucking helpless that we seriously have to stand up for our future.

Actually, I am kinda agree with a few points addressed by the Terengganu Government regarding the Perdana quality. To be exact, it is about the quality of our local made quality issue. Proton quality issue is not a new topic. If you ask the Proton owners, it is not difficult to hear the owners diu Proton for the lousiness of their auto parts. For me, Proton is a failure to our country. The idea of involving in automobile industry is good, but the POLICY of executing the project have served as the main destoyer to the whole project. What policy?? The protection policy without a doubt.

Proton has been protected by the government since the first car driven by Tun M 2 decades ago. They have been raised under the protective policy, within the comfort zone, consequently they have lost the ability to compete with others under a fair and square battle. All this while, Proton is surviving with the help of a tongkat, be it a normal tongkat or the tongkat ali. When comes to the situation where tongkat is not allowed, Proton has one option only which is death.

Today, Pak Lah has given green lights to the Terengganu for the purchase of E200Ks. From the outcome of the controversy, what I can see is our leader, Mr.PM is helpless in controlling his own ma chai or anak buah. For me, the Terengganu state government has given Pak Lah another big slap hard in his face. The first slap was given when Terengganu Sultan rejected Idris, appointed by Pak Lah to be the Menteri Besar of Terengganu. The Sultan appointed an ahmad, oppsss sorry, it is Ahmad to be the Menteri Besar, but Pak Lah warned Ahmad not to take the post or else Ahmad will be taken disciplinal action. But Ahmad diu Pak Lah also not free. He took the post and organised party to celebrate it, Pak Lah was speechless. What disciplinary action has been taken against Ahmad?? I know the answer. The answer is, a grant to Ahmad to purchase the most luxury car, Mercedes Benz E200 for his government. The rest of the BN states use the lousy Proton Perdana only, whereas Ahmad will use Mercedes Benz, the German luxury makes!!
